Chia Puddings

Fact: No store-bought chia seed pudding can compare to the homemade. I remember the first time I tried one from a healthy supermarket; it was awful and I never ever wanted to eat it again until seven years later. As part of my new healthy eating plan I had to give a chance to every untried recipe. Some of these recipes were for chia seed puddings. So I had to prepare them myself. What a difference it made! Every chia pudding I make is, of course, raw and vegan and so delicious. There is also a huge variety: from warming spicy ayurvedic golden milk chia pudding to fresh summer berries or chocolate pudding. They are perfect as a healthy, vitamin-packed breakfast, a cheeky little snack in the afternoon or a beautiful dessert after dinner. My absolute favourite combination I make is in the autumn, when shops stock fresh persimmons – they go so well with golden milk and banana, sprinkled with nuts and raw chocolate nibs!
